SPOTTED CHORUS FROG Pseudacris clarkii (Baird, 1854) 

STATUS:  Abundant      

DOCUMENTED COUNTIES:  Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise

HABITAT:  Fort Worth Prairie, Mesquite Grand Prairie, Blackland Prairie, Western Cross Timbers, and Brazos River Bottoms

COMMENTS:  The spotted chorus frog has declined in the last few years in the Metroplex for no apparent reason.
